Conyers Hill (100/30f) followed up a September Clonmel success with consecutive wins today, landing Cork's Paddy Power Handicap Hurdle for trainer Paul Nolan and jockey Sean O'Keeffe.

Carrying the colours of the Wexford-based Buzzer Racing Syndicate, the five year old travelled well and disputed the lead from the second-last and while he seemed to idle in the closing stages, held on for a head win from Showman

Nolan reported “he certainly wasn't doing much when he hit the front and I thought he was going to get caught but he had jumped slick and well. He came there travelling well, but you saw how much he found.

“He got confidence from winning at Clonmel the last day and has turned inside out. Maybe he needed that little time and we ride him a different way but we don't do much with him at home.”
