Jazzy Dancer pulled out all the stops in the finale at Dundalk to score for Willie Martin.

The 7/4 favourite cut out the running in the six-furlong handicap but was strongly pressed going to the furlong pole. Hezahunk was the main danger in the closing stages but Jazzy Dancer stuck his neck out gamely to record a three-parts-of-a-length success under Dan King.

The winner has proven very consistent over the winter at the venue and was recording his second course and distance victory.

King said: "He has been running well up here as of lately and he's in good form, so it is nice to get his head in front again.

"He likes that being up the front the whole way. He was good and quick away from the stalls and he travelled well and picked up to hit the line well."
