Cooper confidence behind Azorian Bryan Cooper feels Azorian has a good chance of opening his account over fences in the Follow Navan On Facebook Beginners Chase at the County Meath track on Sunday. The seven-year-old, trained by Eoin Griffin, was an encouraging third over hurdles at Clonmel recently after three months off during which he had a wind operation. Both his runs over fences came in November when he was third to The Tullow Tank at Fairyhouse before being pulled up in a Grade Two contest won by Chancol at Punchestown. "Azorian ran well the last day and he's had his wind done since then," Cooper said on his blog for www.racingfx.co.uk. "He should be good enough if getting his jumping together and this looks a nice opportunity," Among Azorian's seven rivals are Gordon Elliott's Riverside City and Rudolf from Sandra Hughes's stable.
