Cox Plate invites for Trading & Noble Last year's Irish Derby winner Trading Leather has been invited to run in Australia's Cox Plate later in the year. Jim Bolger's charge, beaten at odds-on on his seasonal return in the Group 2 Qatar Bloodstock Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket last month, features on a list of 10 runners targeted by Leigh Jordan, Racing Victoria's international recruitment officer. Tattersalls Gold Cup victor Noble Mission also makes the list, along with high profile French star Cirrus Des Aigles. William Haggas' Mukhadram, Dubai World Cup winner African Story and Japanese star Just A Way, presently the highest-rated horse in the world, are others on the shortlist.
