Crazywork De Vassy and Darragh O’Keeffe dominated the opposition from the front in the extended two and a half mile handicap chase at Killarney.

The eight-year-old gelding moved clear three out as his rivals struggled to keep tabs on him in the attritional conditions.

A good jump at the last two fences confirmed the victory as he galloped in by 20 lengths at 4/1 for trainer Michael McDonagh. Railway Muice was a remote second at 17/2 with Deadheat a further two and a half lengths adrift in third at 10/1.

Cailean’s Angel, the 2/1 favourite, finished out of the places in fourth.

There were five non runners, due to the going, reducing the field to eight runners.
