Creighton discharged from hospital Eddie Creighton has been discharged from hospital after making remarkable progress from a fall at Warrnambool racecourse in Australia on Saturday. He was first taken to Warrnambool Base Hospital after sustaining a broken wrist and concussion in a tumble from The Walrus. However, his condition deteriorated and he was transferred to Melbourne's Alfred Hospital. Thankfully he has improved dramatically over the last couple of days, resulting in his release. Racing Victoria tweeted: "Jockey Eddie Creighton was discharged from The Alfred today. Has made huge progress over past two days after falling on Saturday." When based in Britain, Creighton won two Group races for trainer Mick Channon - the Cherry Hinton on Please Sing and the Princess Elizabeth Stakes in 2009 on Eva's Request.
