Gavin Cromwell is concerned the easing ground at Killarney won't suit Fiery Lucy ahead of this evening's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cairn Rouge Stakes.

Concerns for Fiery Lucy at Killarney

Last seen finishing fourth at the Curragh on Derby weekend, the 100 rated bay is set to face 12 rivals in this Listed heat, with the Ger Lyons-trained Red Letter set to go off a warm order favourite.

"No she didn't (have clearest run when fourth at the Curragh), she sort of gave away a position early and paid a price for it in the end. You could probably mark it up a bit," Cromwell said.

"She's in good form at home. The only concern is that I see plenty of rain coming.

"She's a good filly and she is well up to winning one of those races. She would deserve it."
