Cross Country goes ahead This afternoon's cross-country chase at Cheltenham will go ahead as planned after officials cancelled their planned 2.15pm inspection. The Glenfarclas Handicap Chase was originally due to be run on Tuesday but a frozen track saw it held over until today. Cheltenham experienced another cold night on Wednesday and Simon Claisse held an initial inspection of the banks course at 11am but opted to delay a decision on the race until later in the day. However, he has now given the contest the go-ahead and it will be run as scheduled at 5.15pm.
