Lord Windermere will be given an entry in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury as connections ponder plans for a season which will culminate in the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup.

The RSA Chase winner at this year's Festival is back in training at Jim Culloty's stables in County Cork in preparation for what could be another big campaign.

"He's been back in about a month and we're very happy with him," said Culloty.

"A lot will depend on what the weather is like in the autumn. I won't run him until there's a bit of rain.

"He's Gold Cup bound, it's just what route we take. He'll get an entry in the Hennessy at Newbury."
