Cully doesn't take No for an answer!

Jockey Chris Cully’s ‘yes we can’ attitude on the Roy Wilson trained Yes Way Hosay saw the pair come from what looked a highly unlikely position to land the concluding Spawell Bumper at Wexford today.

Cully’s mount looked booked for a modest third from early in the straight but Cully kept his mount going to eventually wear down first Blue Bicycle and then leader Tornado In Milan close home for a most unlikely win.

The winner received a tremendous reception from connections and Seamus Casey, of the Casey Partnership, later explained “my wife Patricia and myself own Yes Way Hosay and we have come from Belfast today!

“He is a great horse, something very special. He was very good when he won his point to point and he may even see him at Down Royal on Friday, depending on how comes out of this.”
