Curragh ground eases The ground has eased slightly ahead of racing at the Curragh this weekend. The course received 6mm of rain yesterday and the going is now good, good to firm in places on the round track and good, good to yielding in places on the straight track. Down Royal race this evening and the ground there remains good to firm after 5mm of rain since declaration. The Listowel festival gets underway on Sunday and there was 3ml of rain overnight in Kerry. The Flat track is yielding and the National Hunt course good to yielding.
