Curragh now good ahead of Oaks The ground at the Curragh is now good ahead of the Darley Irish Oaks on Saturday. The going had been good to firm yesterday. The forecast is for rain this morning, clearing later, while it is set to be dry tomorrow. Further rain is forecast for Thursday. There has only been a slight change in the ground description for the second day at Killarney this evening after 2mm of rain overnight. The Flat course is now good to yielding having been good, good to yielding in places while the NH track remains good. There will be fresh ground on the Flat track tomorrow while selective watering will take place on the NH track to maintain good ground. Downpatrick remains good ahead of their jumps card this afternoon. The forecast is dry with just a risk of a shower. The ground at Tipperary ahead of their fixture on Sunday is currently good, good to yielding in places.
