The going at the Curragh remains heavy following 18mm of rain in last 24 hours.

Heavy Ground Conditions and Weather Outlook

There is the possibility of a further 10-15mm of rain through to the end of racing on Sunday according to Met Eireann.

The Kildare venue stages the opening fixture of the Flat season this weekend.

The Irish Lincolnshire is the feature event on day one with 100,000 euro on offer in the mile handicap.

An eight race card is scheduled to start at 1.25pm.
