Curragh replaces cancelled Sligo Following the cancellation of the Sligo meeting which was scheduled for Wednesday 7th September 2016, Horse Racing Ireland has announced that a replacement Flat meeting will now be held at the Curragh on Thursday afternoon, 22nd September 2016. This meeting will close for entries by 12 noon on Thursday 15th September with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Wednesday 21st September and the programme of races will be published next Monday. In addition, Horse Racing Ireland has also announced that the Fairyhouse meeting which is due to be held on Tuesday 8th November, 2016 will now be on Monday 7th November 2016.
