Cyclone heads withdrawals at Navan Racing goes ahead at Navan this afternoon but some trainers are expressing concern about the track which has led to a number of withdrawals. Ten horses so far have been taken out due to ground conditions with the highest profile withdrawal being Hidden Cyclone in the Grade One feature event. The first race has been hardest hit with five not lining up. The jockeys reports after the race were mixed with some reporting it fine and others describing frozen patches. Conor O'Dwyer walked the track before racing and decided to take his three runners today out after expressing concern about the ground being patchy. The ground is officially soft and is covered in a light dusting of snow. Temperatures are close to freezing. The first race gets underway at 12.45pm. Gary Carson
