Cyclone to appreciate step up John "Shark" Hanlon is convinced Hidden Cyclone will be suited by the step up to two and a half miles at Leopardstown on Sunday. The six-year-old has already showed plenty of promise over the minimum trip, winning a bumper and his first two hurdle races before losing nothing in defeat when third in the Grade One Future Champions Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown last month. He will try to get back on the winning path in the Grade Two Synergy Security Solutions Novice Hurdle. "He's in great form and we're looking forward to stepping him up to two and a half miles," said the County Carlow trainer. "It looks a competitive race but I think he'll be much a better horse over that trip." Hanlon is also looking forward to the racecourse debut of Mart Lane in the Follow Us On Facebook (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race on the same card. "He's a full-brother to Western Leader and I just think he's a very smart horse," he added.
