Dance gains US glory again

Dermot Weld`s much-travelled colt, Pine Dance, posted his third American success with a game win in the US75,000 Brandywine Stakes at muddy Delaware Park on Saturday.

The Irish raider, given an energetic ride by Ramon Dominguez, floored Quick Punch by three-quarters of a length.

Pine Dance, a 7-2 shot on the Pari-Mutuel, added to his Grade Two and Three wins recorded last season.

Liberty Gold, the favourite, was a length and a quarter further back in third.
