Chanceawetmorning wins again as Williamson rides double Josh Williamson rode a double on the card as the Gordon Elliott trained Chanceawetmorning stayed on best close home to win the featured Clonmel Racecourse Supporters Club Handicap Hurdle. Successful on his stable debut at Kilbeggan last time, the Conor McGlone owned gelding was sent to post a well backed 11/10f to make it back-to-back wins. With the final two flights omitted due to low lying sun, the six-year-old came through to lead at what should have been the final flight. Keeping on well on the run-in, the son of Snow Sky prevailed by three-quarters-of-a-length from Theflyingbee. Williamson reported: "It was a messy race as my lad was off and on-the-bridle and would have preferred the two (omitted) hurdles to have been in. We didn't go too quick, which didn't suit him and if we went a stronger gallop he might have won better. "Gordon's main instructions were to speak to Jack (Kennedy) about the horse and there is no better man to speak to than him, so a big thanks to Jack for filling me in. "That's my second double, and a first as a professional. I'm getting loads of support, especially since the turn of the season, and am with Gordon four days a week, Ian Donoghue another day and whoever else I can get to on the other days."
