Danny Mullins stood down after fall in Thurles opener

Three-time Cheltenham festival-winning jockey Danny Mullins was stood down after a fall from Fancy Girl in the opening beginners' chase at Thurles this afternoon, just five days out from the start of the big meeting in the Cotswolds

Mullins (33) was reportedly 'sore' afterwards and missed his ride in the third race.

He has two booked rides at Gowran on Saturday.
