Dara Delight in Lanzarote The gambled on Oscara Dara (5/1) ran out an easy winner of the William Hill Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton Park. Nicky Henderson's lightly raced eight year old attracted plenty of morning support for his first run beyond two miles and a furlong and his backers had few anxious moments once the field had turned into the home straight. Barry Geraghty appeared to be sitting with a double handful with his opponents hard at work and the looks weren't deceiving as his mount ran out a ready five length winner from 100/1 chance Romeo Americo. The pacesetting Loose Chips had cried enough on the home turn, leaving Buck Magic at the head of affairs while Romeo Americo had slipped up the inside of the track. Geraghty had every move covered, however, and he only needed to push his mount out having jumped the last. There was drama behind the leader at that flight, with Captain Sunshine - who had made taking progress from the rear - falling and hampering Bear's Affair which left Buck Magic and Araldur to collect the minor honours. Henderson and Geraghty were completing a double on the card following the earlier success of Tetlami.
