Dawn among 2000 Guineas fourteen Irish-trained runners account for half of the 14 possible runners in Saturday's QIPCO 2000 Guineas. All of the market leaders have stood their ground for the first Classic of the season, with Jim Bolger declaring both Dawn Approach and his regular pacemaker Leitir Mor. Aidan O'Brien has four possible starters - Cristoforo Colombo, George Vancouver, Lines of Battle and Mars - while Niall Moran has also left outsider Dont Bother Me in the contest. Richard Hannon has narrowed his options down, with just Toronado and Van Der Neer still in the race after the decision was confirmed to aim Greenham winner Olympic Glory at the French version of the 2000 Guineas. Craven runner-up Havana Gold has also been taken out of the contest. Marco Botti has left in Greenham runner-up Moohaajim, while Sir Henry Cecil's maiden Kyllachy Rise is also a possible starter. The Brian Meehan-trained Correspondent, along with northern raiders Garswood and Glory Awaits, make up the line-up.
