A total of seven runners will take on Dawn Approach as Jim Bolger's charge makes his eagerly-awaited return to action in Saturday's Group 1 Goffs Vincent O'Brien Stakes at the Curragh.

The New Approach colt has not run since taking the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot but is already among the leading contenders for next year's Classics.

Bolger has a second string to his bow in Leitir Mor, who was a Group 3 winner at the Curragh last Sunday.

Aidan O'Brien fields three in opposition with Cristoforo Colombo, Flying The Flag and Nevis all declared for the race better know as the National Stakes.

The Mick Channon's Ayaar is the sole British-trained challenger after winning a German Group 3 last time.

David Wachman's Railway Stakes winner Probably and Pat Flynn's Designs On Rome complete the field.

Paddy Power bet: 5-4 Dawn Approach, 3 Cristoforo Colombo, 6 Nevis, 9 Flying The Flag, 10 Probably, 12 Leitir Mor, 20 Ayaar, 50 Designs On Rome.
