Henry de Bromhead aims two classy performers at the Ladbrokes Ireland Fortria Chase at Navan on Sunday as he bids to continue his flying form.

The trainer's string has hit the ground running as the National Hunt season kicks into gear and he looks to have a strong hand in the Grade Two feature with Days Hotel and Special Tiara.

Days Hotel makes his first start since finishing well beaten in the Melling Chase at Aintree in April, but he had previously looked a class act when scoring in Grade Two company at Naas.

"It's his first run back and he's in good form. He should come on for the race, but we're hoping for a nice run. The softer the better for him," said De Bromhead.

Front-runner Special Tiara ran well below par when beaten at a short price at Ballinrobe on his last outing in August, but the former Grade One winner is a hard nut to crack on his day.

He receives a handy 6lb pull from Days Hotel and Twinlight, and De Bromhead is hoping the seven-year-old is back in good order.

He said: "He's in great form again now. We tweaked a few things since his last run, which was very disappointing.

"Hopefully he's back to near his best and we're hoping for a good run. On ratings he looks to be best-in at the weights."

Twinlight, who started last year in flying form, could be the one to beat if he returns in the same heart.

The Willie Mullins-trained gelding was impressive in the Poplar Chase and the Hilly Way in the early part of last season, but disappointed on a couple of occasions afterwards, including behind Days Hotel at Naas.

Arnaud showed some fine form, including beating Rebel Fitz, early in his novice campaign, and could be a force if recapturing that, while Baily Green bids to bounce back after a poor run on his return at Gowran Park.
