"He was fit enough to do himself justice, but he had a little hold-up two weeks ago so you can never be sure," said Deegan, who is based just a few miles from the Curragh racecourse at Ballysax. "He was very impressive. Colm (O'Donoghue, jockey) was very taken by him and felt he could easily get another furlong. "Saying that, we'll be sticking to the Marble Hill for his next race back at the Curragh. Should he do well there, the dream would be alive and Ascot would be the next step. "He's a proper two-year-old, and we don't even have an older horse in the yard that would lead up with him."
