Philip Dempsey is mulling over his options for Way With Words who was a promising second on debut in a Leopardstown bumper on Monday.

The Poet's Word gelding kept on nicely without troubling the winner in the closing stages and Punchestown could be on the agenda.

Dempsey said: "He’s a lovely horse, a really nice horse.

“Sure those Queallys are hard to beat (winner Adaboy Mushy)! I was delighted with my lad. He was the pick of the ring anyway, he’s a beautiful horse.

“I haven’t really spoken to William (Flood, owner) yet about what we’ll do with him.

“I’m thinking of a bumper at Punchestown, maybe. Hopefully, he won’t be sold before it or, if he is, he stays in the yard!”
