Denman gets all-clear Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Denman has been given a clean bill of health following a recent irregular heart-beat scare. Denman had been treated at Rossdales Veterinary Practise in Newmarket for an irregular heart-beat which was diagnosed in the last few days. Trainer Paul Nicholls stated "he's fine thank goodness and we're all absolutely delighted thank goodness. Fortunately he didn't need to undergo an operation." He added "he was administered quinidine which is used to put the heart back into rhythm and it went back almost immediately. However, he'll stay in Newmarket for another 24 hours to confirm everything is ok and he'll be back to the yard on Friday."
