Detour on way to Kilbeggan Racegoers and trainers heading to Kilbeggan this evening from the Kildare direction should be aware that there is a festival in Rhode, Co Offaly. Rhode's main street will be closed to traffic from 4pm to 6pm and there will be a minor detour so extra time should be allowed for the journey. Kilbeggan gets under way at 5.15pm. There is also racing in Dundalk at 6.10pm. The Rhode Parish Gathering Festival is on from today until Monday.
