Dettori Delays Comeback Frankie Dettori´s comeback from a fractured collarbone has been delayed for 'about three weeks' after he suffered a minor setback.The champion jockey was poised to return to the saddle at Newmarket on Friday, but things have not gone to plan after he suffered a relapse while on holiday in Sardinia.'Frankie aggravated the injury swimming which has put his recovery back for about three weeks,' explained his agent Ray Cochrane.'He would return to racing today if he could, but he will be taking things steady for a while.'He´s obviously a bit down and the shoulder is very sore. He probably overdid it a bit but he´s as determined as ever to get back.'The setback means Dettori will now miss the ride on Dubawi when he tackles the unbeaten Divine Proportions in Sunday´s Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.However, Cochrane is confident the Italian rider will be back riding winners again sooner rather than later.He added: 'Frankie´s understandably disappointed to miss that one (the Prix Jaques le Marois) because it will be a huge race.'It´s difficult to give a date when he will be back because he may make good progress and come back quicker than we are expecting.'Dettori fractured his left collarbone in a fall from the David Barker-trained Celtic Mill at Sandown on July 2.?
