Dettori Takes Love Ride Frankie Dettori is set to renew his acquaintance with the Michael Bell-trained Higher Love in the Vodafone Oaks. The Italian is usually retained to ride for the Godolphin team but finds himself free to ride the filly, having partnered her on on both her starts this term. Higher Love opened her account for the season when easily winning at Folkestone and was a close second to Alumni last time in the Cheshire Oaks. Bell was happy with that run but believes she has a stiff task if she is to go one place better at Epsom on Friday week. The Newmarket trainer said: 'Higher Love is in the Oaks and Frankie Dettori will ride. 'She´s very well, but will only run if the ground is on the slow side, which I´m sure it will be at least on the first day. 'She ran very well in the Cheshire Oaks and is a progressive Sadler´s Wells filly. She´s got to take her chance and while realistically I don´t expect her to win the race, she should run well.' ?
