Dettori has Spanish Derby in his sights Frankie Dettori has picked up another Classic ride of sorts with a mount in Sunday's Spanish Derby in Madrid. A number of big names have been invited to La Zarzuela racecourse according to the track's official website and the Italian is set to be joined by Irishman Colm O'Donoghue, as well as French riders Pierre-Charles Boudot, Franck Blondel and Antoine Hamelin. Dettori will have been in action for little over a week, having returned from his six-month drug ban at Epsom last Friday, and he had no luck in Sunday's French Derby aboard First Cornerstone. His mount in the race known as the Gran Premio Villapadierna is set to be Bear Prince, trained by Enrique Leon.
