Dettori to ride Tobougg in Derby Frankie Dettori, still seeking his first Derby success, will partner Godolphin`s Tobougg in Saturday`s Vodafone-sponsored Classic, it was announced today.Godolphin have also left Wareed in the blue riband, but their trainer Saeed bin Suroor said: 'Tobougg will run but we will make a decision later in the week about Wareed, we will have to see.'It is likely we will have only one runner (Tobougg) and Frankie will ride him. We have not booked a jockey for Wareed.'Tobougg has been off the course since disappointing in the Sagitta 2000 Guineas at Newmarket last month.Outsider Cashel Bay is on course for the Derby. The Luke Comer-trained colt`s participation in the premier Classic had been in doubt after blood tests taken following his last place in the Entenmann`s Irish 2000 Guineas suggested a trace of virus.'I`m hoping to run him at Epsom,' the Irish-based permit holder said.'There was a suspected low blood count and suspected he had a virus sometime over the last couple of weeks so hopefully that will explain his poor performance.'He was very disappointing in the Guineas. He`s capable of much better than that and he seems to be working well.'Golan has retained his place at the head of the betting on 2-1 with Coral Eurobet ahead of Galileo at 5-2 and the well-backed Dilshaan at 4-1.'Irish raider Galileo, representing the all powerful Aidan O`Brien yard, is a firm second best at 5-2 and could well challenge for favouritism in the days to come, and the Michael Stoute `second-string` Dilshaan will carry plenty of support on the day as well,' commented David Stevens, Coral Eurobet spokesman.William Hill`s David Hood added: 'There has been such good support for Galileo and Dilshaan over the last week, that it`s quite feasible one or other of them could join or even surpass Golan as favourite by the weekend.'The public will bet somewhere in the region of Stg#50million on Saturday.'Coral Eurobet: 2-1 Golan, 5-2 Galileo, 4-1 Dilshaan, 7-1 Perfect Sunday, 10-1 Putra Sandhurst, 14-1 Chancellor, 16-1 Storming Home, 25-1 Wareed, Tobougg, Mr Combustible, 66-1 Ice Dancer, 80-1 Sunny Glenn, 125-1 King Carew, 250-1 Cashel Bay.Tote: 9-4 Galileo (from 5-2), Golan, 7-2 Dilshaan (from 4-1), 7-1 Perfect Sunday, 14-1 Putra Sandhurst, Storming Home, 16-1 Chancellor, 25-1 Tobougg, 28-1 Mr Combustible, 33-1 Wareed, 50-1 Ice Dancer, 100-1 King Carew, Sunny Glenn, 250-1 Cashel Bay (from 500-1).William Hill: 2-1 Golan, 5-2 Galileo, 7-2 Dilshaan (from 4-1), 7-1 Perfect Sunday, 12-1 Putra Sandhurst, 14-1 Storming Home (from 16-1), 16-1 Chancellor, Tobougg, 25-1 Mr Combustible, 40-1 Wareed, 100-1 Ice Dancer, Sunny Glenn, 200-1 Cashel Bay and King Carew.
