Dilshaan connections eye bonus A Stg£1million bonus could tempt connections of Dilshaan to aim for the Rothmans Royals St Leger if the colt wins the Vodafone Derby on Saturday, it emerged today.The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Dilshaan put himself in line for the pay out after winning the Racing Post Trophy on Town Moor last October.The bonus is payable to any horse successful in the Racing Post Trophy, the Derby and the St Leger.Dilshaan, currently a best-priced 9-2 with Ladbrokes for the Epsom Classic, is owned by Saeed Suhail, whose racing manager Joe Mercer said the bonus is being considered.He said; 'The Stg£1million bonus would definitely be very much on the minds of Sir Michael Stoute, the owner and myself were Dilshaan to win the Derby, and we would obviously look at running him in the Rothmans Royals St Leger.'Johnny Murtagh will take the ride on Dilshaan in the Derby and he is very, very well and in great form.'Tim Betteridge, general manager at Doncaster, added: 'Everyone at Doncaster will be cheering Dilshaan on Saturday and we look forward to his return to Doncaster for the Rothmans Royals St Leger on September 15th, when we hope to greet his connections with a Stg£1million cheque as the first winner of this tremendous bonus.'
