The Michael Mulvaney-trained Dinamine recovered from a slow start to land the O'Neill & Co. Apprentice Handicap for jockey Terry Casey. The jockey, who enjoyed victory for the second time this week, gave his horse a cool ride and managed to fend off the second-placed Famous Enough by 1¼ lengths.

Speaking after the race, trainer Michael Mulvaney said: "He's been doing that a little bit lately (missing the break). He done the same in Bellewstown and he came home like a train that night. We put cheekpieces on him today to try and sweeten him up a bit. Terry said he was travelling in his hands most of the way. He is an eight-year-old and he is getting clever. The lads are delighted with him. He is a fun horse. A kind of a pet for the lad that owns him, Sean Finnegan. Hopefully we can keep him going. I don't know where we'll go next."
