Dolce Strega aimed at Sandringham Willie McCreery is looking forward to running Dolce Strega in the Sandringham Handicap after she landed the Group Three Athasi Stakes at the Curragh last month. The Zoffany filly is a perfect two from two so far this season having won in taking fashion on her reappearance at Dundalk previously and McCreery is excited about running his charge at the showcase meeting. "She's doing great and I've entered her for the Sandringham," he said. "She has a nice handicap mark and I think if she ran in Group races she'd be penalised and carrying more weight, so I thought there's no point. "She's rated 100 and it's a lovely opportunity for that race. She has no penalty in Ascot so we'll see how we get on."
