Dollar Nolimit stretched clear in fine style on the run-in to open his account in the novice handicap hurdle at Limerick for the father/son team of Ned and Kieren Buckley.

The Authorized gelding had been a faller when running well at Fairyhouse on his last outing and went to post a 4/1 shot today.

He was produced to dispute, with Harry’s Dream, turning for home by Kieren Buckley and went on going to the last. A big jump there propelled him to nine-and-a-half length success.

The winner had been a £12,000 purchase by Buckley last May, having been placed four times for previous owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede.

"He has a hell of an engine but has had a few little niggly injuries and is a hard horse to train,” said the winning trainer Ned Buckley.

“I spoke to Joseph O'Brien (previous trainer) about buying him and, while he loved him, he said he was impossible to train and keep right.

"He needs this ground, but the problem is we only get it for two or three months a year. He didn't look cheap either when he fell the last day, but we're not complaining today.

"His owners Paul and Mark Willis, who both live in America, are great supporters of mine and have been since day one."
