Domination back in action after injury Royal Ascot winner Domination makes a welcome return to the track at Leopardstown on Sunday. Charles Byrnes' dual-purpose nine-year-old has been sidelined with a leg injury for a year, but is back to full fitness in time for the mile-and-a-half Fitzpatrick Gallagher McEvoy Solicitors Handicap. Domination won the Cesarewitch Trial at Newmarket in 2012 and also enjoyed a big day at the Royal meeting two years ago when he claimed the Ascot Stakes. Despite his advancing years, a return to England this summer could still be on the cards. Byrnes said: "He had to have time off because he had a suspensory (ligament injury) but he's in good order again. "He never shows you a thing at home - he never has done - but he's been galloping well and we are hoping for a good run at the weekend. "He's a tough old horse and a very good stayer, and if he runs well on Sunday there's a chance he might go back to England again."
