Dominica to return in King`s Stand Dominica was today given the all-clear to return to action in next Tuesday`s King`s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, eight months after an impressive victory over course and distance. The filly has not been seen out since winning the Cornwallis Stakes from the front under Martin Dwyer last October. But she was among 19 five-day confirmations today for the Group Two King`s Stand over the same five furlongs. And trainer Marcus Tregoning said of the three-year-old: 'She is fine and Martin will ride her again.'I`d have liked to have brought her out earlier but she wasn`t ready, though there wasn`t a great deal for her earlier on.'Obviously it will be tough for her first time out, taking on the colts and older horses.'But the ground should be in her favour as she appeared to appreciate cut in the ground in the Cornwallis and hopefully she will run well.'Only other three-year-old left in the race is Maderno, Aidan O`Brien`s sole acceptor from nine original entries.Jamie Spencer has been booked to maintain his partnership with Henry Candy`s runaway Temple Stakes winner Kyllachy, while Richard Hughes and Darryll Holland are due to be on Bahamian Pirate and Continent respectively for David Nicholls.
