Local handler Garvan Donnelly was delighted to get his first winner at Bellewstown when Catwilldo claimed the Inter Vintners Pub Challenge Race Night Handicap. Dylan Express cut out the running in the five furlong contest but couldn't hold Catwilldo inside the final furlong.

Gary Phillips' mount kept on well in the closing stages to post a two-length victory at odds of 4/1.

"It's great for the owners Simon Mulvany and Gerry Clarke. They've been good patrons of mine and Simon sponsors a race here on Saturday," said Donnelly.

"I'm local to here so it's great. I wouldn't even be 10 miles away. We've hit the crossbar here a few times so it's great to get my first winner at the track.

"She's in at Ayr on Monday and might go there. She's also in at Naas next Wednesday."
