Willie Mullins' Dorrells Pierji was the comprehensive winner of the concluding Racing Again June 6th I.N.H. Bumper at Wexford today, as the gelding scored on his third bumper start, and his first under the Champion Trainer's son Patrick Mullins.

The French bred five year old was third of four on his bumper debut at Tramore in April before finishing 14th at the recent Punchestown festival but showed much improved form on a faster surface today, when readily beating Court Maid by eight and a half lengths.

Afterwards Champion Amateur Jockey Patrick Mullins stated "I'd said he liked the better ground and he settled much better today and we dropped him in. He was very keen on his last two runs.

"He missed last year with injury and we were probably minding him a bit but he probably just needed a run or two to hit peak fitness. We weren't as hard on him at home as we would be with some of our other horses."

“I think he is a good horse.

"I must also thank Luke Leadbitter who has done a great job at keeping this horse sound."
