Of the home challenge, L´Ami Serge, who is unbeaten since arriving at Nicky Henderson's yard, looks the pick. Paul Nicholls won the Tolworth between 2006-08 and could this year saddle interesting French recruit Sirabad, who has yet to be sighted on British shores. Ebony Express, Shelford, Jolly´s Cracked It and Warrantor are others with valid claims.
