Down Royal cancel sprints Down Royal`s five furlong track was found to be unfit for racing following an inspection yesterday - leading to the cancellation of two races at the two-day meeting.The Hughes McMichael Handicap on Friday evening (June 21st) and the North Irish Handicap on Saturday (June 22nd) have been called off after parts of the track were deemed to have false patches.The going is currently good to yielding at the Northern venue.
