Doyle doubles up on Curling's debutante Amateur jockey David Doyle completed a Roscommon double today, achieving the feat in the concluding GavinLynchRacing.com INH Bumper on the Sam Curling-owned-and-trained debutante Greattobeable (14/1). Last year’s champion under -21 point-to-point rider Doyle had earlier scored on his father Tim Doyle’s 28/1 chance Getaway Charlie and completed his 434/1 double on Snow Sky-sired Greattobeable, who led home a well-strung-out field in scoring. Curling, this season’s leading point-to-point handler, commented “it was a lovely performance, he’s a lovely horse but I thought he might be a bit raw today. “He’s always worked well, Roger Loughran pre-trained him and had all the work done. We have him for the last couple of months. He will be a nice horse although I didn’t expect him to do that today. There is plenty of improvement in him, I’d say. “The first and second pulled a long way clear and I’d say they are two nice horses.
