Dream start for Syndicate Nivek’s Dream, under Andrew Thornton, was the second horse at Bellewstown this evening to follow up a recent win, when adding the O’Neills Sports Club Challenge Handicap Hurdle to a recent Downpatrick success. Afterwards winning trainer Pat Martin revealed “Nivek’s Dream was only bought during the week by the Paleface Sioux Syndicate, from Athlone.” “He likes quick ground but needs a gap between his races and won’t run for three or four weeks now – he’ll go for something similar then.” Thomas Weekes
