Duchess Of Kenli (7/1) landed Gowran's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden to complete a double for jockey Joey Sheridan.

The three-year-old daughter of Goken, sixth on her first start at Dundalk in December, improved from mid-division to lead inside the final furlong and scored by a length and a quarter from Wearing Stars

"We weren't sure what to expect today," said winning trainer Joseph O'Brien, also doubling up after Nil Bua Gan Dua s success in the featured Listed race.

"We liked her going to Dundalk for her debut, but she didn't really show up on the day. She had a nice break and, in fairness to her owners John and Janine, they have been patient with her because it just took us a while to get back to where we wanted her.

"Even today, she exceeded our expectations. So hopefully, she is now back on the right track. She's a sister to (Group 3 winner) Princess Child, that the guys have, so hopefully she can go on to do something like she did."
