Chachamaidee has been confirmed as the winner of the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes after the appeal lodged by the connections of Duntle was rejected by the Turf Club.

Duntle, owned by the Niarchos Family and trained by David Wachman, crossed the line a short head in front of Sir Henry Cecil's Chachamaidee but was adjudged to have caused interference before the final furlong.

The stewards at Leopardstown on the day overturned the result but the connections of Duntle later appealed that decision.

However, after a lengthy hearing, Turf Club officials ordered the result to remain unaltered.

A Turf Club spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that the appeal was rejected."
