Peter Fahey and Adam Ryan teamed up with Ealu Tapa to win the concluding Jennings Meats INH Flat Race at Ballinrobe.

Sent off 7/2 in the colours of Vinny Byrne, the gelding sat mid division for much of the two-mile contest.

Edging closer to track the leaders over two-furlongs out, the son of Getaway got a dream run up the inner rail to lead entering the straight.

Soon clear, the five-year-old stayed on well to win by four-and-three-quarter lengths.

"We fancied him at Punchestown and things didn't go his way," said winning trainer Peter Fahey.

"A horse was dropping back and fell right into his path, and that knocked him out of the race.

"Josh Halford came in and said that he was unlucky and that there was plenty of ability there.

"He's a fine big horse, and is out of a sister to Peregrine Run. If he does even a third of what Peregrine Run did, we'll be happy, and we have his half-sister by Maxios at home."
