The Copper Coast (Ladies Pro-Am) INH Flat Race was won very easily by 8/11 favourite Tina Meehan

Jody Townend took her time on the Mahler newcomer who was fourth at halfway. The five-year-old made steady progress to head Inion Tiogair over two furlong out and strolled clear to beat that rival by fourteen lengths with a similar gap back to third-placed Iurkash

Winning trainer Willie Mullins said: "She did that well and her homework has been that she stays. We’ll have a think now about where we go and she could go for a Listed bumper and then go hurdling next season.”

Emmlyn Melarkey, son of winning owner Paddy, who both made the journey down from Fermanagh, said, “Tina Meehan is named after my mother who passed away six years ago and we always wanted a horse in her name.

“We’ll leave it up to Willie where she goes. If he wants to go to Cheltenham, we’ll not argue!”
