Einstein looks smart on debut Albert Einstein made a big impression on his racecourse bow at Naas this afternoon when running out a stylish winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden for Aidan O’Brien. The son of Wootton Bassett was sent to post a well supported 1/2 shot in the six furlong contest and picked up nicely inside the final furlong to claim Evening Blues. Wayne Lordan’s mount was comfortably on top close home as he recorded a length-and-a-quarter success. Albert Einstein is the first foal of Yet, who was Group 2 placed for Ballydoyle a few years ago. “He was never away and that’s the first time he’s come off the bridle,” said O’Brien. “We’re delighted with him. You can see the size and power of him. He learned a bit today. “Ger (Lyons’s) horse had a very good run the first day. “We’ll see where he fits in. We always thought he was a Coventry horse, you’d like to get another run into him before.”
