Electrocutionist Set For King George Bid

Electrocutionist, runner-up in last week's Prince Of Wales's Stakes, is set to return to Ascot for next month's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes.

The five-year-old finished half a length adrift of Ouija Board at the Royal meeting and a possible rematch had been on the cards in the Coral-Eclipse on Saturday week.

However, Godolphin are keen to step the son of Red Ransom back up to a mile and a half to tackle the July 29 event rather than stick at 10 furlongs.

Racing manager Simon Crisford told www.godolphin.com: 'We were pleased with his run at Royal Ascot and are looking forward to seeing him race in the King George.'
