Timeless Treaty gave Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy a quick double at Thurles this afternoon when running out an easy winner of the rated novice hurdle. Murat made the running in the two-and-a-half mile contest but was headed by both Sunny South West and the eventual winner two from home.

Timeless Treaty eased to the front going to the last flight and was soon in control, posting a 24-length win without coming off the bridle.

Festival Options Considered After Easy Win

Assistant Lisa O’Neill said of the 10/3 winner:-

"He had been running relatively well in handicaps without finishing too close so it was nice to see him recapture his form and he was really good.

“Jack said he wasn't in love with the ground but got through it.

"The way he won today, I don't see why he couldn't go to Cheltenham for a handicap but Gordon will find an option for him. We'll see how he comes out of today and go from there."
